Food for Thought Boardroom Luncheon at Allens Arthur Robinson

In August 2011, three Indigenous students from St Catherine’s School, Waverley, were invited to the CBD office of AIEF’s corporate partner, the international law firm Allens Arthur Robinson. Over a casual boardroom lunch with Chief Executive Partner Michael Rose and senior staff of the law firm, the students had a chance to ask questions about career opportunities in the legal field.

Food for Thought is a series of boardroom luncheons bringing Indigenous students together with CEOs and senior managers of AIEF’s corporate partners to build their networking skills. It is part of the AIEF Post-School Pathways Program, which offers a wide range of work-readiness activities and support to help students transition from school into further study and careers. The aim of the program is to inform them about career options and provide one-on-one support to develop and achieve their career goals.
