On 20 October 2017 the AIEF Year 12 Graduation ceremony for scholarship students from schools in Queensland was held at Queensland Parliament House in Brisbane.
56 Year 12 students celebrated their achievements alongside teachers, supporters and mentors and representatives from AIEF Corporate Partners AFL, Commonwealth Bank, KPMG, Perpetual and Swire.
Speakers included Danella from Clayfield College, Melekai from Ipswich Grammar School, and AIEF Alum Frank Lowah.
