AIEF Alumni Nathan Bassani, Libby Cook-Black, Bernard Kelly and Lowanna Moran were honoured to attend events marking the 10th Anniversary of the National Apology and the release of the 2018 Closing the Gap report in Canberra.
They were humbled to meet members of the Stolen Generation; met Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and former PM Kevin Rudd; attended Kevin Rudds address at the National Press Club; and spoke to The Australian about the role of education in Closing the Gap. Libby and Nathan also spoke to David Speers live on Sky News.
