Over 60 Year 12 students from Partner Schools across Australia attended the Learn It! Live It! Work Readiness Workshop at the Commonwealth Bank Innovation Lab in Sydney on Friday 7 September, 2018.
The workshop included sessions on goal setting, budgeting and interview skills designed to help students gain the knowledge they need to make a successful transition from school to employment or further study.
AIEF Alumni participated in a panel discussion sharing their experiences since leaving school a valuable opportunity for students to learn from their older peers and the workshop concluded with a career journeys panel featuring representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and our corporate partners Allens, CBA, HSBC and Qantas, who discussed seizing opportunities and the importance of networking.
