AIEF Corporate Partner BHP recently hosted the Career Pathways Workshop in Brisbane for AIEF-BHP Tertiary Scholars. Students were given the opportunity to network, explore career options within the mining industry and see the work BHP undertakes in their home communities.
AIEF Alum Nyah Teiotu facilitated the workshop and discussed her journey from receiving an AIEF-BHP Tertiary Scholarship to being employed by BHP as a Specialist in Mine Scheduling and Drill and Blast Engineer at Blackwater Mine.
BHP has been a proud partner of AIEF for over 10 years and continues to support young Indigenous people in creating a successful transition to career pathways.
