AIEF and Qantas have been working together through the challenges of Covid to support Indigenous students. Qantas Customer Service Manager Irene Fong has been with Qantas for almost 40 years. She was stood down due to Covid and when AIEF became aware of this we offered her a position in our Partnerships team. We knew Irene both as someone we had met on-board and as a great mentor to an AIEF Scholarship Student, Eden Timbery.
