St Gregory’s College Campbelltown offers AIEF Scholarships for boarding students.
St Gregory’s is extremely proud of our Indigenous Programme and is passionate about the success of our Indigenous students. Over 80 students, both day and boarding, identify themselves as Indigenous. Our Indigenous boarders come from far and wide, all bringing their talents and personalities that significantly add to the fabric of our entire school community. Some possess outstanding sporting ability, including numerous state and national representations. Others are leading the way in social justice initiatives. All are achieving much academic success.
The College celebrates Indigenous culture at numerous whole school events throughout the calendar year, with Harmony Day and our NAIDOC Assembly being the highlights. The boys have also had wonderful cultural opportunities with performing at the College and the local art gallery, both music and dance. The work our First Nations Liaison Officer, Mr Shaun Humphries, has been phenomenal this year.
The extra support and opportunities in collaboration with AIEF have ensured our students are connected back to culture and are set to thrive in today’s society. A highlight included the visit to meet the LA Rams footballer Todd Gurley and cheerleaders. Additionally, the AIEF Mentoring Program continues to go from strength to strength.
St Gregory’s is very proud to have a long and strong association with AIEF and sees the wonderful benefits for our students. In partnership, the horizon continues to look bright.
