On 31 August 2014, 19 Year 12 AIEF Scholarship Students gathered for the AIEF Graduation Lunch in Sydney.
Ten AIEF Partner Schools were represented on the day: Pymble Ladies College, St Gregorys College Campbelltown, Loreto Normanhurst, St Vincents College Potts Point, The Scots College, Knox Grammar School, St Scholasticas College, Scotch College Perth, La Salle College and Melbourne Grammar School.
The event was an opportunity to celebrate the students amazing achievement in completing secondary school. It was an opportunity to congratulate the students on their hard work and commitment to completing their studies and for AIEF to reinforce its support and commitment to the students in helping them pursue their education and achieve their goals.
AIEF Student Support Executives Anna Mackiewicz and Natalie Brosnan and AIEF Alum Mikasa Donald addressed the students, congratulating them on their achievements so far and giving insights into life after school. AIEF Programs Director Gillian Odbert also congratulated the students, offering words of encouragement before presenting each student with a graduation certificate.
Student representatives Biama and Jackson delivered inspirational speeches, reflecting on their time at school and their plans for the future.
Nine AIEF mentors attended the lunch and were each presented with a gift from their students, who thanked them for their wonderful guidance and support over the years. The students were proud to have their Mentors celebrate their graduation with them.
