The Garma Festival was hosted in Gulkula in northeast Arnhem Land from 2 to 7 August 2018 by the Yothu Yindi Foundation. The festival provides a platform for cultural exchange and a forum for discussion. It brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians to promote reconciliation and understanding, while celebrating Yolngu culture.
AIEF were delighted to host a group at the festival, which included AIEF Supporters and representatives from our partners. The group was grateful to meet with and hear from Indigenous and community leaders.
