On 20 May over 300 guests including students, alumni and representatives of schools, business and government gathered to celebrate the launch of AIEFs ground-breaking guide to best practice in Indigenous education, the AIEF Compendium, alongside the 2014 AIEF Annual Report. Speakers included the Hon Tony Abbott MP, Prime Minister of Australia, who officially launched the AIEF Compendium; AIEF-BHP Billiton Tertiary Scholarship Graduate Tim Hill; AIEF Alum Latiesha Dunbar; AIEF Executive Director Andrew Penfold; BHP Billiton Chief People Officer Athalie Williams; and HSBC Bank Australia CEO, Tony Cripps. Guests also enjoyed performances by the Garraway Dance Troupe from St Vincents College, Potts Point and Diversity from Trinity College in Perth.
