On 2 September 2016 AIEF Patron-in-Chief, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and Her Excellency Lady Cosgrove hosted the AIEF Year 12 Graduation ceremony for scholarship students from schools in NSW, VIC and WA at Admiralty House in Sydney.
37 Year 12 students from Partner Schools in WA, VIC and NSW attended the graduation alongside teachers, members of the AIEF Nation Changers Syndicate and mentors and representatives from AIEF Corporate Partners BHP Billiton, Commonwealth Bank, Qantas, BP Australia, HSBC, Perpetual, Tenix, SAP, Swire, KPMG and Allens.
Jasmin, an AIEF-BHP Billiton Scholarship Student from Presbyterian Ladies College Perth and Jhdara from Scotch College, Melbourne spoke on behalf of the graduating class and both His Excellency and AIEF General Manager Gillian Odbert addressed the graduates. The ceremony was followed by an afternoon tea where guests were able to congratulate the students on their achievement and enjoy the wonderful setting.
