On 27 October, 30 AIEF Scholarship Students from 11 Partner Schools in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia attended the Year 11 Learn It! Live It! Work Readiness Workshop at KPMG in Sydney.
The workshop is focused on developing students interpersonal skills, resilience and motivation going into their final years of schooling.
Former boxer Joe Williams began the day by talking about the importance of being emotionally aware and maintaining positive mental health.
Former Olympian and former Senator Nova Peris OAM continued the theme of resilience in overcoming challenges and adversity, and also spoke about the value of education.
The students also participated in activities exploring emotional intelligence and strengths and values and closed the day with a cultural cruise aboard the Tribal Warrior.
