On 24 June Allens Partners Anna Collyer and Ian McGill hosted a Food for Thought Boardroom Lunch for AIEF Alumni and Tertiary Scholarship students studying law.

Anna, head of the Energy, Resources and Infrastructure practice group and Ian, a media specialist and Chair of Allens’ Sydney RAP Committee, shared insights from their careers and explained how a law degree can be an asset in a variety of careers beyond law.

AIEF Alum and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) student Libby Cook-Black spoke about her experience as an Allens cadet and encouraged others to apply for the program; and fellow QUT student Jerone Wills described the lunch as a rare opportunity to meet and learn from senior lawyers at a leading commercial firm.
