On 30 May 2012, almost 60 Indigenous students joined staff from AIEF Partner Schools and Colleges, as well as government, business, media and sporting leaders and supporters aboard the P&O cruise ship Pacific Jewel to launch the AIEF 2011 Annual Report.
Together, they celebrated the achievements and successes of AIEF programs over the previous 12-month period, recognised major donors and allowed all partners and stakeholders to meet the students and acknowledge their hard work.
A special treat for the 25 students and school staff who travelled from Queensland and Western Australia was a sunset cruise in Sydney Harbour, which was kindly donated by Sydney Harbour Escapes.
