In August, AIEF representatives attended the Garma Festival in Gulkula, North-east Arnhem Land with guests including AIEF Ambassadors and representatives of AIEF Corporate Partners Allens, HSBC Bank Australia, KPMG, Perpetual and SAP.
The festival, hosted by the Yothu Yindi Foundation, promotes cultural exchange and reconciliation and provides a platform for a national discussion about policies and initiatives affecting Indigenous Australians.
The group was privileged to meet and hear from AIEF Scholarship Students from Melbourne Grammar School, AIEF Alum Latiesha Dunbar, Senator Nova Peris OAM and GenerationOne CEO Jeremy Donovan at AIEF-hosted fireside chats.
