From 1417 September 17 AIEF Scholarship students attended the Australian Defence Force
Exercise First Look program at the Bandiana Barracks in Victoria.
Over several days students participated in a number
of activities including personal training sessions led by Army personnel, a
trip to Kapooka to see the new recruits put through their paces and a tour of
the Latchford Barracks training facility.
Students had the opportunity learn about the more
than 200 different jobs available in the Army and hear from current serving
Indigenous Army members, including AIEF Alum Darnell Fisher, a Rifleman with
the Australian Army.
