On 8 September 2013 13 Year 12 AIEF Scholarship Students from seven AIEF Partner Schools in NSW and WA gathered for an AIEF Graduation Lunch in Sydneys Woolloomooloo.
The event was a chance to congratulate the students and celebrate their hard work and commitment to completing their studies. AIEF 2012 Alumni Brittannie opened the lunch with an Acknowledgement of Country and later spoke of her journey to Year 12 and beyond. She stressed the importance of finishing Year 12, saying the achievement would open doors for all the students present. AIEFs Student Support Managers, who have worked closely with the students throughout the year, congratulated the students and assured them that their support will continue in the years to come. Lunch was followed by a speech by AIEF CEO Andrew Penfold, who expressed his pride in each of the students and encouraged them to pursue their goals.
