Events in each city took a variety of different forms, including pairs going head-to-head in a pool competition, and an afternoon of ten pin bowling.
In Brisbane, mentor pairs took part an amazing race scavenger hunt across the city with tasks including sourcing free samples in a supermarket, taking photos with Commonwealth Bank ATMs, and modelling eye shadow!
Mentor pairs in Cairns met for a barbeque on the esplanade and were joined by AIEF Alumni Atima Bin Juda (St Peters Lutheran College, 2017) and Danella Mene (Clayfield, 2017) as everyone shared stories from the year.
Mentors and students will stay in touch over the school holidays and meet again at kick off events in February.
