During May, AIEF held its first three Year 7-9 Activities. The events were a fantastic opportunity for AIEF students to connect with each other and to strengthen their sense of belonging to the wider AIEF cohort.
Two events were held in collaboration with the Goodes-OLoughlin Foundation (GO Foundation) for AIEF and AIEF-GO Foundation Scholarship students from five Sydney schools. Working alongside the AIEF Team and AIEF Alumni, Adam Goodes and Michael OLoughlin ran sports activities and provided an overview of the support offered by AIEF and the GO Foundation.
AIEF Scholarship Students attending the third event took part in similar activities designed to test the students team work skills and build rapport between the year groups. A student remarked that it was a really good experience to meet other students on the same scholarship that go to other schools.
