On 7 February AIEF and HSBC hosted the first Alumni Connect event for 2016 at the HSBC Sevens World Series in Sydney. Tertiary scholarship students and alumni cheered on teams from around the world including Australia, Fiji, Kenya, New Zealand and USA and met HSBC Ambassador and former Wallabies player Matt Burke. One of the Alumni remarked that they will be back next time for sure while another said that it was great to finally meet the other AIEF Staff and Alumni.
